OFFICIAL DATA LIVE

Florida current-cycle contribution and expenditure query rows are connected from the official Division of Elections database. The public query exposes no amendment identity or reliable person-versus-organization classification, so Election.org publishes exact signed row sums without claiming amendment normalization and withholds contributor and payee identities and addresses. Federal, county-only, municipal-only, audited-total, and entity-resolution layers remain outside this adapter's stated scope.

The official contribution response contains contributor names, street addresses, city/state/ZIP, occupations, and descriptions. Election.org processes those fields only in the refresh stream, persists none of them, and publishes no named contributor aggregate because the response does not classify people versus organizations. The source does not provide a reliable contributor entity classification, so no entity-code breakdown is published.

Contributor identities are withheld.

The official contribution response contains contributor names, street addresses, city/state/ZIP, occupations, and descriptions. Election.org processes those fields only in the refresh stream, persists none of them, and publishes no named contributor aggregate because the response does not classify people versus organizations.

The Division says the database represents reports filed with it and should be cross-referenced with the original report when questions arise. State-level and multi-county filers are included; federal, county-only, and municipal-only records require other filing authorities.

How this adapter keeps source claims bounded

Official source adapter

Identify the current government filing/search system and its export or API contract.

Entity resolution

Preserve state IDs and connect candidates, committees, donors, and vendors without guessing identities.

Amendment rules

The Division's public query output does not expose report IDs, amendment links, or version flags. Election.org publishes the exact current rows returned by the official database without claiming amendment normalization or deduplicating similar rows; questions should be cross-referenced with the original filed report as the Division instructs.

Fail-closed validation

Reject incomplete or structurally changed pulls before they can become public totals.
