Election.org Public Data API · v1 beta

Build from sourced civic records.

No key is required during public beta. Cache responses, preserve source and coverage fields, and never represent the ballot-preview endpoint as an official complete ballot.

Required attribution and interpretation

Keep the returned source and coverage context near downstream claims. FEC registration and filing data is not proof of ballot qualification. A ZIP is a postal geography and its center can fall in a different political district than another address in the same ZIP.
